What exactly does it take to get Procomm in general and MaryAnn Brown in particular to respond to phone calls? It shouldn't take the HOA VP or president intervention. I have tried back in January to reach Ms. Brown (can't even remember why), and never had any returned calls to voicemails or messages left with the receptionist.

I have tried again yesterday and actually spoke with "Sue" the manager (since nobody at the office knew of the whereabouts of Ms. Brown) who promised me a return call by today. Since, as expected, I did NOT get a return call from Ms. Brown I have tried to call the office myself - again. No surprise - no answer. So all I could do was leave yet another voicemail.

Remind me, why do we pay dues? I can't remember the previous association management company name but at least they answered the phones and returned messages. Procomm sure couldn't care less, it appears.

Back to my question: how do I get a hold of these people without getting brushed off with empty promises (if I am so lucky to actually speak without someone)?

Well, I can say that since this is the 4th Wed of the month, she should have actually been in our neighborhood for yard inspections.

Secondly, you pay your dues so that the HOA can carry-out events, mow the common areas, produces newsletters, clean up graffitti (so we dont end up living in the Ghetto) and for various other services and perks that you dont even realize you get.

As she stated at the HOA meeting the most reliable and fastest way to get hold of her is via email.  I am assuming that YOU were AT the HOA to get her email address... ok fine I will give it to you: mbrown@procomm-mgmt.com.

1- She was out here on the 20th. Apparently she was on vacation and her manager wasn't aware of it. But I don't see what her driving through the area has to do with (not) responding to messages. Unless I should flag down her car if I happen to see it?!

2- If I don't realize I am getting perks and services, I am not so sure I am getting them (the perks and services). If they have to be explained ... Or maybe the insinuation was that the average Kriewald resident is simply too dense to realize all the benefits.

3- Newsletters, well, if we have this website why spend $$$ on prinitng and postage? Would be much easier to keep current and would save trees, too.

4- I was at last year's HOA meeting, taking time off from work and was not amused by the waste of time and most non-productive meeting I have aver attended, thus, as you have guessed  I decided not to take off from work again and to skip this year's meeting (along with the majority of residents).

5- An email address is like a voicemail box: if it isn't tended to it doesn't do anybody any good. FYI, I did have the email address prior to your gracious offering here. But thanks nonetheless.

But it's good to see that there is a Sheriff policing the board. Thanks for the very enlightening response. Showed your true colors.

First, I am sorry you feel I was brash in my reply... that was not the intent.  I just like to keep it short and sweet.

I have flagged her down on inspection day LOL

I did forward you message yesterday to MaryAnn (an hour after it was posted here.) she called me back a few hours later to let me know that she had gotten back with you.

As for Maryanne with her email, trust me... she replies quickly... faster than I do to phonecalls.  Sylvia Coffee SHOULD be returning in a few more weeks, then we can have the proper response time that we all deserve.

We put out a newsletter because we are supposed to and as you can tell, not many people even come here or the Facebook page to get updates.  Unfortunately the newsletters are still the most reliable way to ensure that every resident is informed about the goings on.

To bad you missed the first annual meeting this year, it was very productive.  Second  one wasnt because we handed out the minutes from the first meeting and said "here is what you missed" then did the business of the meeting.
