A Landmark in the East Village

The Lafayette condominium complex, located at Linden and Broadway is in the midst of an exciting restoration and revitalization key to the future success of the East Village. Three buildings, each with unique architectural styles, built in 1928, 1929 and 1948, present a rich historical setting. Originally a Hilton hotel, the Lafayette first became a condominium complex in 1968. Now complete, a $3.5 million dollar renovation program was undertaken by the owners of the condominium including seismic upgrades and state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems, as well as a comprehensive exterior and interior design package, to truly make the Lafayette stand out as a symbol of the committment to change evident in the East Village.
