Lake Euclid Neighborhood Association

na

Lake Euclid is a small neighborhood community in North St. Petersburg with about 650 homeowners and residents. Conveniently located between 22nd Avenue,North and 30th Avenue, North, it is bordered to the West by I-275 and to the East by 16th Street,North.

Lake Euclid Neighborhood is distinguished by the lake for which it is named. A long, narrow lake located alongside and parallel to 25th Avenue, North. The lake itself was probably named Euclid to commemorate the Egyptian mathmatician Euclid, who is known by historians as the "Father of Plane Geometry" and author of "The Elements". This may explain why the Lake resembles a elongated rectangle with rounded ends.
