CRIME REPORT; 7-19-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 12:43 PM Officer Stan Meiser was dispatched to a disturbance in the 3500 blk of Rolling green.  Officer Meiser contacted a subject who gave him a false name.  This male subject consented to a search of a bag in which was located hydrocodone.  He was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Hydrocodone.  His real name was discovered and he was also charged with Fail to Identify. 

 

Last night at about 9:35 Officer Brian Poyner was dispatched to a north side business for a disturbance call.  Witnesses said that a male subject slapped his wife.  The witnesses stepped between this male subject and his wife and called the police.  This male subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 11:30 Officer Coby Wright was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 800 blk of beech.  A male subject there was found to be in possession of marijuana.  He was arrested and transported to Taylor County Jail. 

 

Yesterday at about 1:30 PM agents from the Special Operations Division executed a Search Warrant in the 700 blk of Cockerell.  A male subject there was arrested for Possession of Cocaine in a Drug Free Zone.

CRIME REPORT; 7-21-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Last night at about 8:14 PM Officer Chris Hall stopped a car for expired registration in the 4300 blk of Don Juan.  A K-9 alerted on the car and a baggie of marijuana was found in the car.  The male driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. 

 

Last night at about 11:30 PM Officer Jeremy Holmes stopped a car in the 800 blk of E Hwy 80 for failing to signal a turn.  A K-9 alerted on the car and a small amount of cocaine was found.  The male driver was arrested for Possession of Cocaine. 

 

And finally at about 12:50 last night officer Darren Ruiz responded to a fight call in the 1900 blk of Denton.  Witnesses said that a male subject had fired several shots in the air from a handgun, put an object in a parked car, and ran from the scene.  A handgun was located in the parked car.  This male subject was located at his residence and admitted firing the rounds.  He was placed under arrest for Discharge of a Firearm Within a Municipality.

CRIME REPORT; 7-28-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 3:25 PM Agents of the Special Operations Division executed a Search Warrant in the 1700 blk of N 11th.  A female subject there was found to be in possession  of approximately 2 grams of cocaine along with scales and packaging equipment.  This residence is within 1,000 feet of a school.  She was charged with Delivery of Cocaine in a drug free zone. 

 

At about 2020 Officers Alfred Dixon and Jeff Farley was dispatched to a south side location for a disturbance.  A male subject there was in an argument with his roommate when a house worker tried to intervene.  This male subject struck the worker several times in the face.  The male subject left the location and was detained by officers.  When the officers tried to arrest this male subject for Assault Family Violence a second male subject jumped on the back of Officer Farley to try and prevent the arrest.  This male subject was arrested for Interference with a Public Servant.  Both were transported to the Taylor County Jail. 

 

And finally at about 9:21 last night Officers Josh Ward and Mack Garrett were dispatched to a south side residence.  It was reported that the victim’s ex boyfriend had entered the residence and pointed a handgun at the victims new boyfriend and threatened to shoot him.  The ex boyfriend then fled the residence.  Responding Officers stopped the ex boyfriend in the 1300 blk of S Treadaway.  The ex boyfriend was placed under arrest for 1st Degree Felony Burglary of a Habitation.
