Leisure Lane becomes as Association

On April 7, 1994 Leisure Lane Neighborhood started forming an association. May 12, 1994 the neighborhood becomes an association.
The purpose of the Association: Improving and beautifying the neighborhood, prevention of residential crime and vandalism and improving neighborhood and community relationships.

Leisure Lane becomes an incorporation

Leisure Lane Neighborhood was granted certificate of incorporation on November 10th 1994. Our association is not for profit incorporation.

First Block Captains

Responsible for collecting names, addresses and phone numbers of new neighbors.
Responsible for distributing neigborhood notices and newsletters.
Serve as contact person for neighborhood problems- such as disturbances, criminal activites, any street,lighting and sewer maintienance concerns within their blocks.
Then forward concerns to the Block Chairperson.

Leisure Lane Events

The neigborhood has several events during the year.
Annual meeting in April($5.00 membership per family per year.
Neighborhood Garage Sale in May (homeowners keep all their own sales) The association put the ad in the paper for the neighborhood.
Block Party in Sept.(events to be decided)
Christmas Lighting contest in Dec. (We have 1st ,2nd and 3rd prizes), (membership dues must be paid to win prizes)
We deliver newsletters and emails throughout the year to inform everyone what is happening in the neighborhood.
