Who We Are

Lifting As We Climb is dedicated to strengthening the African American community by recruiting and coordinating a network of volunteers for a variety of short-term and flexible projects.

What We Do

Lifting As We Climb coordinates volunteer projects with agencies and community organizations and then recruits African Americans, who want to make a difference in their community. Our projects are divided into four groups; children and youth, adults, family preservation and neighborhood revitalization. The amount of time spent giving back is entirely up to each individual. Our projects are held in the evening and weekends. We also coordinate ongoing donations such as book drives and clothing donations.
