As plans continue to move forward on this light rail line, we need to ensure that our community is updated on any progress or plans that are to be decided. The proposed detour that would bypass Cheviot Hills has been strongly objected to. The reasons for it are arguably weak, and the added cost would be great. Running the light rail line straight through on the existing right of way is the most sensible thing to do. That should be decided on so that the project can move forward towards Santa Monica.

I Agree re Rail
How long does the westside have to wait. The most likely to use the line are left out. Is this a good thing. Not. Maybe by being the last to be built we will end up with a really nice line that has less breakdowns and nicer looking train stations. Or we will just have the most expensive. IMHO By Keith L |

Light Rail
I watched them tear up the tracks on Santa Monica Blvd, and on Venice Blvd. Insane. I know people living east of LA that take the train to work in DownTown Los Angeles. Who's holding it up? Beverly Hills? Who? Why? |
