Little Spring Farm Neighborhood

Waste Management will be sending cards to the residents that are not currently using their service. We gave them a list of all addresses in the neighborhood so they could validate the current service users. We received about 80 replies via mail from neighbors. There was only one resident who was against consolidate collection. The ball is in Waste Management court for now. The rep promised to get things going in a hurry.

We received new information from Waste Management today.    Of the 176 households in Little Spring Farm, 119 are currently signed with WM.   We will need 30 households to change their service to reach 85% participation.  It would be better for the neighborhood if everyone who can would switch.   Again, WM will be sending information cards to those who need to switch.

Waste Management will be sending notices this week to residents who are not currently using their service.  They will do count on April 2, 2008 to verify that we have reach the 85% mark.    This will give residents who choose to participate nearly a month to change service.  Please switch as soon as possible.   At $38.16 per quarter this could save each resident $120.00 per year and the entire neighborhood with 176 residents $21,120.00.  (Based on the $68.00 per quarter that I currently pay Industrial Disposal).
