Just found out about eight hours too late. Any report?

Good contingent of folks interested enough to return in about a week to create some positive plans. Will be information shared as to the next meeting...Stay tuned and share any ideas as to saving our history.

Hi MP......we had a nice meeting - approx. 10 people came to the gathering.......we had several topics touched on - demolition laws - City involvement (or lack of)......One thing that was quite clear was that community involvement was imperitive.   A couple of people are checking on times for the next meeting - which is to be called within the next week or so......and will hopefully be held at the Oak Hill Nursing Home community room.   Stay tuned!  If you (or anyone else out there) would like to provide me with your email - I'll add you to my list.   My email is:  psz333@aol.com. 

So what do others think might be solutions for helping retain our historic past and take pride in our historic future ????

Financially there are questions as to how to fund some of these things?

Would approving a city bond for a revolving fund for some fixups, modernizing with energy efficient programs help?

Would alternative uses help keep places intact?

Others have emailed concerns and suggestions that might be too big and too difficult for many to be helped, but now is the time to put these all on the table to Preserve our Future with the Past!
