ELDER ABUSE IS A CRIME
Elder maltreatment often is a serious crime that requires the intervention of a variety of disciplines to ensure victim safety and perpetrator accountability. The Elder Abuse Services Coordinating Committee keeps the safety, welfare, and dignity of the older victim as a top priority.
INFORMATION
The Coordinating Committee monitors a Federal training grant to educate court professionals and law enforcement on elder abuse issues. Through collaborative efforts, the committee is working to bring this training to other professionals, as well as the public. For information on training opportunities please call 574-1977
