New Board Members Nominated; Election at Annual Meeting
The nominating committee has been very active for the past two and a half months identifying potential Board members, evaluating what strengths and abilities they would bring to the organization, analyzing our projected needs and inviting a select group of individuals to join our Board of Directors.
We are very excited about the "Class of 2000" and feel that these candidates will combine with our current Board members to create a synergy that will help guide our neighborhood through the challenges ahead.
Many or our existing Board members will run for re-election. Others were selected by the nominating committee to stand for election at the Annual Meeting on February 23, 2000:
Gary Antonoff
Terry Barnhart
Cindy Christensen
Steve Emmons
Jim Graebner
Joslyn Green
Mark Hoskin
Susan Kiely
Frances McDonald
Devany McNeill
Mark Pingrey
Brian Thomas
Deborah Williams
Also at the Annual Meeting, the following Board members stand for re-election:
Steve Abelman
John Imbergamo
Dave Prebble
Jim Roberts
Joanne Salzman
The people who have resigned from the Board or have decided no tot stand for re-election are:

More Proposals at Annual Meeting
One of the other areas of concern for the Nominating committee is to propose a slate of officers that the Board of Directors will vote on at the March meeting. We are now working on developing this slate and will have it completed by March.
The other item up for discussion at the next board meeting is a change from our current system of two Vice Presidents to a single new position that is designated as Vice President/President Elect.
A Thanks to the Committee?…?…
As chair of the Nominating Committee, I would like to thank all the members of the committee for identifying and recruiting such a group of talented candidates. I would also like to thank them for attending so many meetings and making innumerable phone calls.
Without the efforts of Joe Dolan, Barbara Gibson, Lee Goodfriend, Marilee Utter and Ellen Wilensky this job of selecting Board members would have been impossible.
