Art evolves - and exhibits emerge. Enjoy these additions at LoDo galleries:

A Walk Through the Paper Forest: Latino Prints and Drawings from El Museo del Barrio, New York City from Sept. 10 - Oct. 21. Join the free walking tour, Sept. 10, 6 p.m., led by artist Carlos Fresquez at the Center for the Visual Arts: Metropolitan State College at 1734 Wazee St. The next day,
Sept. 11, the Center will host a Family Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. At this free event, families will enjoy tours in Spanish, a performance by Teatro Metro Theatre and workshops.

Original drawings and related large scale works from Bacon, a new book by Francis Johansen that reflects the social ills of always searching for the "new," will be at Ron Judish Fine Arts, 1617 Wazee. Opening reception, Sept. 16, 6 - 9 p.m. Exhibit from Sept. 11 - Oct. 16.

A recent buying trip to the Southwest brings modernist paintings of New Mexico and Colorado to David Cook Fine Art as well as a museum quality exhibit of antique American Indian Art to David Cook Fine American Art. Both
located at 1637 Wazee St.
