We are an international, non-profit organization designed to support and provide services for stay-home mothers and their children.
We offer a way to meet other mothers in the community. We also offer community resources such as guest speakers on topics of interest to our members, do at least one charity a year, and basically provide a network of mothers to give advice and support to each other. It can be difficult financially and socially when you are at home and you can feel secluded. We all understand that and are here to help each other through it:)
We do have dues of $20 a year, but that is to cover registration fees with our international headquarters and things such as room rentals, etc. We can discuss options if money is a problem.
Our organization holds one business meeting each month to plan activities of interest for our members. We hold playgroups, provide babysitting coops if desired, one moms' night out each month, and many ways to get out of your house and just chat with other moms in your community. We're also a way for your children to make new friends and have playmates.
MOMS Club of Columbus-NE, OH is hosting an open house at the Northern Lights branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Friday, May 16 at 10am. Come find out more about our group and join if you like!
We are also having our monthly business meeting on Monday May 19 at 10am at the Capital Park Head Start located at 2150 Agler Rd. Columbus OH, 43224. Come meet other moms and kids and help us plan activities for the month of June!
