About our association

Madison Neighborhood Association Inc.

We started forming the Madison Neighborhood Association, Inc. back in October of 2004. Currently we have 5 committee meembers in our association.

We would like to get more residents in our Community to get involved and keep our area safe for all who live in the Madison area.

Our Goals

Our main goal is to make sure that all the children in our area are safe. Whether they are walking to and from school or just playing outside. We would also like to get better lighting in the park next to Madison Elementary and have more activities for children of all ages during the summer.

Volunteers Needed

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following:

Committee Members-Need more volunteers to give us ideas and input of what you want in our area.

McGruff-We have applications that can be completed and sent to the Fargo Police Department, where there is a background check done. Upon the completion of the background check you will receive a sign to put inside your window. This lets children know that it is safe to go to the house when they are being followed, harrased or in a dangerous situation. Your responsibility is just to keep the child safe until the police have arrived.

Babysitters-We are looking for persons who will volunteer to watch children while we are having committee meetings or special events for the community.

Servers-We need volunteers to serve food for an upcoming event being held April 18th.
