The Madisonville Community Council meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Madisonville Civic Center at the rear of 5908 Madison Road. There is no meeting in August. At each meeting, members of various city departments are present and will give a brief report. Residents are encouraged to share their concerns with these city departments which include: police, fire, recreation, public works, buildings and inspection and neighborhood services.
There are reports from the standing committees of the council as well: business and economic development, by-laws, rules and regulations, clean-up and beautification, crime prevention and safety, education, history, housing, membership, marketing and communication, and parks and recreation.
