Marshall Parkway History

Marshall Parkway is a subdivision in the City of Phoenix located at the southeast corner of 32nd Street and Indian School Road. It was developed during the years 1949-1950. It consists of 131 residential lots along 32nd Place, 32nd Way, 33rd Street, 33rd Place, 34th Street, and Clarendon Avenue. It also includes the commercial property along 32nd Street and Indian School.

According to the Maricopa County Assessor, the homes in Marshall Parkway are constructed with three styles of exterior walls: Brick; 8" Painted Block; or 8" Stucco. Forty of the homes were built with brick exteriors. Most of these were built during 1949. There are just two homes identified as having the 8" Stucco exterior walls. The remaining 89 homes have the 8" Painted Block exterior walls.

On the original subdivision plat map, 32nd Way was called "Marshall Way".

RECYCLING!

Our neighborhood does a great job recycling! The blue barrells are always out on Mondays for pickup. However, some reminders... DO NOT put ANY plastic bags in the blue barrells. Leave all materials loose. Plastic bags jam up the sorting machinery. Go to the City of Phoenix web site for a full list of what can be recycled! (see link under Community Links)
