Randell Cheyne is gathering names of neighbors that want to participate in our Neighborhood Crime Watch Program. We strongly urge you to contact Randell, especially if you are home during the day hours.
Sharon Bailey will be going to Raleigh with the Mayor, Feb13. The Mayor will be addressing our State Legislature about our need of funding to improve our judicial system and the need to change the law regarding young offenders. The Mayor?’s intention is to keep criminals in prison once they are arrested. No more repeat offenders!
The McDowell Farms Neighborhood Association is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our residents. One of our activities is to periodically assess the physical attractiveness of our neighborhood. Please be understanding if a notice is sent asking you to address a problem relating to your property.

-unsightly tree stumps
There will be a Neighborhood Yard Sale in early spring. There will be no fee to participate. This will be a good time to greet and have fun with your neighbors.
In early spring Carolyn Bumgardner will be heading up an effort to paint the fences at both front entrances.
