Homeowner contribution notices have been sent out. The response is very positive. If you have not contributed, please do so.
Federal tax Id for the neighborhood assoc. has been added to the neighborhood checking acct at First Charter Bank. All prior signers and social security numbers have been removed.
Painting of both fences at McDowell Farms Drive front entrance- Anita Moore will be washing and Joey Cortez and Jon Furches will be painting the fences this weekend.
Spring/Summer Party for the youth of the neighborhood is scheduled for Saturday June 2, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Joey Cortez, Anita Moore, Thomas Harrison and Wes Knowles will be chaperoning. We need other adults to help out with crowd control. We will be sending out notices soon. We will be allowing the youth to invite only one guest.
We will have the front entrance on Land Grant (across from Mr. Jenkins) professionally landscaped with stone and plantings this summer. (Budgeted amount is $2,000 to $3,000.)
After the front entrance on Land Grant is landscaped, the sprinkler system on McDowell Farms Drive will be fixed. Estimation to fix is $2,500.
Joey Cortez suggested that we pay the youth in the neighborhood to walk around the entire neighborhood and pick up trash. This could be done once a month.
There will be a Safety meeting May 8 at police station on Shopton Rd.
