The home on the corner of Bayview and Prestbury has an illegal fence....what is being done about this?

Each request by a homeowner is handled on an individual basis. Circumstances can sometimes make for "exceptions" .  These issues are handled on a personal and confidential basis. Thank you.

As someone who follows the rules, I will not stand for "exceptopns". The fence on the corner of Bayview and Prestbury (White vinyl fencing with no spacing) is not only strictly against the clear written rules in the bylaws, it's an out of place eyesore. Nice fence mind you, but doesn't go with the community based on the fences that are in place that other people put up following the rules.

I for one am against ANYTHING other than a daily fine for each day this is not corrected by the homeowner. Lein the property and recover the fines when/if they sell. Confidentiality isn't really the proper route here, since homeowners such as myself who are following the bylaws of the HOA aren't aware if anything is being done about it. If they are refusing to abide by the rules, that's one thing, but we should be made aware of the situation. There are no privacy laws as it relates to a home owner's association.

I will in the future reconsider my following of the bylaws. There's no wonder the community is falling into the disrepair it is when rules of the HOA are allowed to go unfollowed without consequence. I don't care that they spent thousands on the fence. It's something they should have checked into before having done. I knew to gain approval for my fence before I had one built.
