McIntyre Matters

There have been several occasions when I stepped onto my porch, only to be greeted by dogs who apparently have gotten off of their leashes.  I am afraid of dogs and find it very disturbing to be held hostage in my home, especially when I am on my way to work, by someones lack of responsibility to keep their pets on a leash.  This needs to stop IMMEDIATELY or else I will be forced to take matters into my own hands and it wont be nice.  Please secure your pets for the safety of others.

I completely agree with you that pets need to be secured and owners need to be more responsible. 

What do you mean by "taking matters into my own hands, and it won't be nice."  I am hoping you mean that you will call animal control rather than take some barbaric action.  Don't punish or hurt the animals when it is the owner that you should take action on.

Yes....please do not take it out on the animals....they are not to blame.  It scares me to live in a neighborhood that someone lives in that would say this "take matters into my own hands and it won't be nice". 

Yes, just call Animal Control, 311, and let them know where, how many dogs and

descriptions.  They usually come out within 20 minutes.  If there is a case

that you are afraid of being attacked by the dog, call 911.  If you know what

house these dogs belong too, call Pinnacle Management and report them.  A

Violation Notice will be sent out and possible fines.
