We will be updating the site on a regular basis in order to better communicate with the members of our group. We look forward to having this website increase our community awareness and participation.

Group History

The McPherson Neighborhood Preservation Group was created in 1998. It was initally formed due to the constrution of the McPherson Athletic Facility. A group of concerned homeowners seriously impacted by the construction of this facility banded together to persuade the City to address area resident concerns. These homeowners were able to cause significant modifications to the development that reduced some of the most onerous aspects of the athletic facility.

Since that point other potential significant impacts to the quality of our neighborhood have been indentified. Among these are the proposition of a bike path behind residents homes, a "bark park" at the Yorba Park facility and the increase in traffic to our residential streets.
