Our neighorhood was named after President William McKinley and has always been a strong working class community made up of diverse immigrants, coming to work in the nearby industries. Older environmentally unsound plants have given way to more modern ones and McKinley Park has been refurbished to it's current 69 acres of open space, lagoons and wildlife. We have a nice mix of older and newer homes, some condo's and lots of bungalows and ranch homes. There are good dinning options and shopping along 35th Street.
