Merrimac Homeowners Association

The Merrimac Homeowners Association is the governing body of Merrimac. The associations primary goal is to maintain and improve the overall beauty and property values of our neighborhood while ensuring a safe, family-friendly environment for our homeowners. Our association is committed to governing the neighborhood with the by-laws set into place by the original developer of Merrimac.

In 2003 dues will be assessed semiannually. The total of $520 can be paid on January 1, 2003 or divided equally into two payments the second being due on June 1, 2003.

Kirkpatrick Management Company

Kirkpatrick Management Company has been hired by the developers of Merrimac to run our association. A few of the management company's primary responsibilities include: budgeting, billing (both payable and receivables), and contracting third party vendors (such as lawn care companies). Kirkpatrick Management does not make policy or rules, they simply help enforce the policy and rules set into place by the developer and Homeowners Association. Eddie Miller is our Kirkpatrick Management Company representative. Kirkpatrick's contact information is linked to this website.

The Developer

As many of you know, the Developer of Merrimac still holds the majority control on all decisions made by the Homeowners Association. The Developer will maintain this control until a specific number of homes are sold in Merrimac. The Homeowners Association is currently transitioning responsibility from the Developer and hope to have a majority control sometime in 2003.
