storm debris pickup

Posted in: Bellemeade - Bellemeade

The Bellemeade newsletter states that our area is C-5.  Chadwick Rd. is in area E-5.    They are 4 or 5 map grids away from us.  Good luck getting here by Derby Day.  If I am wrong I stand corrected...We too have done limb cutting and clean-up at our own expense.....we will wait for Metro to get here and use the FEMA money allocated for clean-up.

Your map reading skills are good.  You are correct in that we are not in C-5 which is mostly between Poplar Level and Bardstown Road astride the Watterson Xway.    I hope that Derby Day is still not Debris Day(week, month, months).

A thought crossed my mind.  In these tough economic times, we may have people who are not physically and/or financally healthy enough to cut and bundle the debris or to remove the large stuff.  That being said; what can be done to help those neighbors?

Good thoughtSmile

If you are able and you have a neighbor who is NOT able be a good neighbor and take care of thier need.

Cool

What a mess.....if Debris Day happens to be May 16...the date of the neighborhood yard sale.....
