We've Grown since the 70's

The first homes bought in the Montomgery Area Neighborhood were model homes built in the Camelot II Sub-division in the late 1970's.. since then we have grown to 3700 "front doors", with an average of 4 residents each. We are bigger than Hondo, Texas.
Our neighborhood is made up of diversity. We are an ethnically and racially mixed community benifiting us by getting to know many cultures. We have young homeowners, just starting out. We have Military retirees, who are making this their permanent home. We have single dwellings and we have apartments/townhomes. Thre are young and old, single, married, widowed, divorced.

We are represented by 3 state representatives, 2 state senators. We have 7 voting precincts.

We have problems like every other neighborhood. We are striving to solve these problems by working together.
