Newburgh Heights' America Recycles Day is Saturday, 11/17/12 from 12-4pm in Village Hall Parking Lot. The following organizations are collecting items to recycle: J&J Refuse- household glass, plastics, and cans. Abitibi Paper Retriever-phone books, magazines, paper, newspapers, AAA- car batteries as well as a free car battery check up, RET3- computers and electronics (no TVs), Habitat for Humanity Restore-tools and residential construction materials, newer appliances and household fixtures (clean, no damages, in working order, no paints, solvents, unpholstered furniture or bedding, TVs).
