The North Long Beach Business Association is a voluntary dues paying organization dedicated to improving business at the "Top of the Town."

Opportunity:

Our business area comprises all of zip code 90805, containing about 1/5 of the of the population of Long Beach. In this area, our businesses range from home based to industrial -- the same cross section you would find in a small city.

All of zip code 90805 is within a redevelopment project area, which provides excellent development opportunities for businesses wishing to locate in North Long Beach. The City of Long Beach Economic Development Bureau has both loan and education programs available for businesses in our area.

Events:

Our business area is home to an annual Veteran's Day Parade which is the largest Veteran's Parade in Southern California.

Our Association currently sponsors two annual Christmas events -- Pictures with Santa and a Christmas Tree Lighting (with plenty of Christmas Caroling). Both events are free to the public. In conjunction with the Tree Lighting, we hold an essay contest for the schools in our area. Additionally, we participate with other area organizations on a variety of projects and events each year.
