Our site hit numbers have significantly decreased since the change in format of this board. We were pleased with our previous growth in site hits because we have worked hard to get our members to use this sight for the most recent information about our neighborhood.

The speed must be increased and a better form of organization implemented to separate the neighborhood information. Please make these changes soon before we lose this valuable communication source!!

Response to:   ROBERT...AKA...neighborhood link!  (Hey guys, a heading would be nice like in the old days, wouldn't it?),

Thank you VERY MUCH for listening, caring & responding to all of our posts & concerns!  That really means a lot, guys!  Robert, your explanation about the "suprise element" made perfect sense.  I'm glad you guys are working on addressing all concerns stated.  It means a lot & shows that you guys care about this board as much as many of of have.  (You did a good job with your response, Robert, TAKE A BOW,!)  (I would have given you a wink here if that toolbar would have had emoticons!).  LOL!  I KNOW  that's another priority, right?!   Sorry, they are just so doggone much fun!

We wait with baited breath at what will happen on this site!  Bring it on, guys...just explain as you go?  I'm in kindergarten when it comes to computers!  LOL!  (NO JOKE...in kindergarten!).

Our site hit numbers have significantly decreased since the change in format of this board.

Combination of two issues here; one is a bug and one is a feature.  (There'd be a smiley there if I could put one in... yup, tlou, give us time.)

First, I suspect that hit reports will show few or no hits for your discussion area right now - I believe that traffic on the new discussion area may not be included in the per-site hit reports at all.  Obviously that needs to be fixed.

However, even when that is fixed you may find that your hits are lower than before.  Used to be people had to click on every single post in order to read it, which meant you'd see a "hit" for every post read.  Now, depending on how many posts there are in a particular thread you might be able to read the whole thing on one page - meaning only one hit.

We definitely have the same goal as you - we want to see more people participate and find the site useful; if we make a change that decreases use of the site we will be just as disappointed as you are.  However, once we have the hit report issue corrected please do keep in mind that fewer hits in the discussion area doesn't necessarily mean people are actually using the site less.
