New Bethel's Beliefs

The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest institution that the world has ever known. Christ established it during her personal ministry and He is its Head (Matthew 16:18). He promised that He would be with it through the ages and that the gates of hell should not prevail against it. To it he gave the Great Commission and the ordinances, and for it He went to the cross. He loved the church and He wants His churches to honor and glorify Him as His representatives on the earth.

Membership

Membership is a priviledge of being among the faithful who worship and praise God and an opportunity for spiritual growth and training by attending weekly Bible study, prayer meetings and Sunday School. Fellowship can be established at New Bethel by:

Salvation and Baptism
John 1:11-12, Matthew 28:19-20
Scriptural baptism is by immersion in water. It requires going down in the water, burial in the water, resurrection from the water and coming up out of the water.
