Community Volunteer Recognition

NCNN would like to recognize Mary Boyd for her work on behalf of her neighbors and her community.

Ms. Boyd volunteered to act as the block champion for Gladstone between Third and John C. Lodge. She asked what was required and hit the ground running.
Her neighbors should applaud her efforts. It resulted in their block being one of the first selected to participate in the Lights and Lock program.

Her efforts have been acknowledged by the Central Empowerment Zone Community Policing Program. NCNN board members would like to implement block champions for each block of the community based on Ms. Boyd?’s model.
