New 54 unit Apartment Complex

Developers met & spoke with those present at the NMWLNA meeting on March 29, 2003. We learned of plans to build a (two bedroom)54 units , full amenities, single family townhouse/condominiums for sell/lease over the next 15 years. The developers spoke about the plans for this constuction may start in July 2003 on the site of the former Nichols Army Hospital (vacant lot located in back of the homes on Nichols Meadow Circle, next to Jacobs elementary). The building plans will also include addtional road added to the area and the schoold bus compound. That means an increase of traffic flow and increased noise from school buses through the newly built roads and March Blvd. The new construction will have major effects on our neighborhood.
