Prior to our neighborhood incorporation into the city of Phoenix in the 1950's, Colter Street was named Nile Street, and hence the Nile Neighborhood organization was born.

The Nile neighborhood is comprised of apartments, condominiums, townhomes, private residences, and shops and businesses.

About our association

The Nile Neighborhood Association was formed with the purpose of reducing crime and blight, motivating neighbors to help neighbors, and focusing on neighborhood improvements.

The Nile Neighborhood Association meets the first Tuesday of every month at A.R.C.H., 1550 W. Colter St., at 6:30pm. Meetings run for approximately an hour. A schedule of meetings can be found of the Calendar page of this site.
