Mr. Elmer Knox, a long time resident of Norwood Manor, was recently honored in Baltimore for his contributions and participation in baseball's Negro League (New York Hall of Fame). Mr. Knox and his wife Thelma have seven children, six girls and one son. They have lived in our community since 1956. Mr. Knox served with the Georgia State National Baseball Congress as Commissioner from 1949 to 1967.
Mr. Knox is one of our true heroes.
