Are you curious about OSU Extension? Do you want to know what OSU Extension can do for you and for your community? Contact OSU DIRECT.
OSU DIRECT is your pathway to OSU Extension and to the educational opportunities that OSU Extension has to offer.

OSU DIRECT strives to be the educational bridge between The Ohio State University & OSU Extension AND the community. OSU DIRECT is a foundation in communities for collaborating with local organizations and offering learning opportunities specifically tailored to the needs of the people in every region of Franklin County (North, South, East, West, and Central City).

Any educational opportunities that OSU Extension currently offers are available through OSU DIRECT to people in each region. Collaborations with local area organizations are created for tailored educational programming. OSU DIRECT wants to offer an holistic approach to education directly in and with neighborhoods in Franklin County.

Community!

Another and broader goal is to create networks of educational & social service providers, local business owners, community groups, civic groups, faith-based organizaitons and residents in each region of the county for programming efforts, building collaborations and sharing of resource information in open forums through annual conferences.

Each region will host its own Neighborhood Resource Connection (NRC) conference each year. The purpose of these conferences is to significantly decrease repetitive programming in Franklin County, one region at a time, by building collaborations.

OSU DIRECT wants to partner with organizations and residents to help create needed and wanted educational opportunities as well as to plan community events to bring neighbors together in fun, positive and educational ways!

OSU DIRECT has an active and diverse Advisory Council which meets every other month to make sure the program is meeting the educational needs of the community and its citizens, to share resource information with the group, and to become involved in their community in and productive and reinforcing ways.

Educational and social service providers, business owners, health field employees, clergy, government employees, parents, grandparents... all are welcome.
