West Entrance Improvements

As a Board, we recognize the long wait we have all patiently endured for improvements to the west entrance. Centex has committed to construct a brick monument similar to the one at the north entrance and to do some landscaping. It has taken them a long time to complete the permit process. We are almost there! The Board has signed the necessary paperwork to move forward and agreed to pay $2000 of the $2500 in cost to the City of San Antonio to make these improvemants a reality. (Centex will paty the other $500.) The Board made every effort to get Centex to absorb the full cost, without success. We have been assured that construction will begin in six weeks. Cross your fingers!

The Association has budgeted an additional $5300 to add landscaping and street lamps to this west entrance. The Board is committed to making the north and west entrances as similar as possible in terms of landscaping and other improvements. It has been a long, tedious endeavor, but we see light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps a cause for celebration!!!
