Volunteers Needed!

Busy lives, busy schedules. We all have them! Sometimes it seems like there isn't a minute to spare for another demand on our time. It is easy to forget the satisfaction that comes from a job well done, a contribution to a cause or community, a chance to meet new people and get to know neighbors. Several times a year, Oakmont Downs has the need for volunteers for an hour or two - to put up and take down Christmas decorations, to plant new flowers to enhance the look of our neighborhood, to plan a party. Thaks to all of you who have volunteered in the past!! The more help we have, the less it takes from each person. How about you? Can you spare an hour or two a couple of times a year to laugh and joke with your friends and neighbors and contribute to a good cause?

Quite a few folks have already put their names to the volunteer list. To join us, please call Chris Myles at Association Management at 829-7202 and give him your name, tleephone contact numbers and e-mail address. When an opportunity arises to help and have fun, we'll ley you know!

The Board has also decided to recognize all volunteers and their families with a bi-annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. You and your family (we know giving you time impacts them too!) will be treated to dinner at a local restaurant. So, come enjoy the fun and the meal! Call Chris today!
