Who Let The Dogs Out?

Remember to keep your dogs leashed if they are out of back yards. We have had numerous warnings of loose dogs that, although docile when owners are with them, change when let out. In the mornings they have acted aggressively and are inhibiting walkers and joggers. The bigger danger being, we are about to start school and a child will not likely stay calm, therefore resulting in a bite and possibly serious injury. A call has been made to the local animal control and we are hoping they can either round up or ticket offenders.

Animal Control would appreciate a call when a loose dog is spotted. Even though their hours are 8:00 to 5:00 they have an on call person available.

Owners are liable for their animals behavior both as ticketable ofenses as well as civil lawsuits. Thank you for helping to keep the neighborhood safe.
