Yes
This place is starting to fall apart.
I would guess that the people that are NOT taking care of their yards are the one's voting NO !

to dont get it
We already have a system in place, read your deed restriction!!! The past trustees hired a lawyer to see what he had to say about fines. He said there is nothing in our deed restictions to allow people to be fined. So why do you people keep bringing this up.
If people were that upset about this they would show up to the hoa meetings. We dont care about weeds, like there hurting somebody. You see how many people showed up to this past hoa meeting, maybe 12 people. And how many people ran for trustee??? THE SAME ONE!

Read what you said
1st: read your deed restrictions. If you do you can see there is a provision regarding this situation.
2nd: There is a provision regarding unsightly yards.
Now, What purpose do they serve,if they can't be enforced?
How do you know what the lawyer said. Was anything ever published?

right on
You hit this on the head. People are on here complaining, however, have the trustees sent a letter to these people? Have they knocked on the violator's door and spoken to them about this problem? You are stating this should be the first step, which I agree. Has this first step even been taken now. I doubt it!
