Im noticing more and more violations. I am now starting to see trailers parked in driveways, cars parked in yards and trash cans left out in the street well past trash day. Have the rules become more lax or is there an issue with enforcment of the rules?

They deal with what is important to them.  All I can say is don't make them mad because they will turn on you in a heartbeat.  I have in writing (email that came to me in error) that was meant for a board member containing some malicious rantings (about me).  Hateful group of people.

Have you even considered actually calling the office with concerns on this subject. 99% of all violations are turned in by the actual homeowners. There is no HOA police force to monitor every resident. Once turned in the appropriate action will begin.

If you are a resident of Trails South, let the office know, or better yet if it is someone who lives next to you, they could be a renter or new resident not yet familiar with the specific rules. Be a good neighbor, talk with them.

There is no Home Owners Association police department. "The Office" or "board Members" do not patrol the Neighborhood. 90% of all violations are made by homeowners, just like you.
