Our Association is comprised of 7 units: a 4-unit building on Emerson Street and a 3-unit building on E.22nd Avenue. The units have been most recently remodeled in 1993, but the buildings themselves date back to the mid-1890's. Our neighborhood is in a transition period with much rehabbing ongoing in the area. A proposed 5-unit townhome project is to be constructed sometime in 1998, on the corner of 22nd and Emerson Streets, and will complete the immediate neighborhood. The Sanctuary Lofts project is only a block away and was the most-recent major rehab construction in the area. We are all anxiously awaiting the start of the St. Luke's complex.
