Old Town West is located right at the heart of historic Fort Collins. Our boundaries are LaPorte Ave to the north, Mulberry to the south, College Ave to the east, and Shields St. to the west. Within our boundaries lie the beautiful and historic Avery House and museum, the Edwards House Bed and Breakfast, the Lincoln Center, home of great theatre, concerts, and community events, and the indoor Mulberry Pool.
Numerous shops and restaurants exist in our neighborhood as well. Our neighborhood features mature trees, stately Victorian mansions next to charming Craftsman bungalos, and plenty of friendly people. During the summer, the trolley runs through Old Town West connecting Old Town center to beautiful City Park.
Old Town West is in easy walking distance to downtown Fort Collins, CSU, and City Park, among many other local attractions. But service and bike paths make alternative transportation to other parts of the city easy.
The Old Town West Neighbors (OTWN) was founded to provide a unified voice for resident concerns and issues. The Association is not a homeowner's association and sets no covenants upon the neighborhood. Everyone is welcome, homeowners and renters alike. No dues are collected. The goal of OTWN is to see that this neighborhood remains a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family. The boundaries of Old Town West are College and Shields to the east and west, and Laporte and Mulberry to the north and south.
