Alligator mouth, small butt

Well Maverick, you want to know what went on down at the annexation hearings. As you can see Harding called them liars and imbeciles. Wonder Woman Wanda Carter (Township Attorney) called them lairs, cheats and imbeciles. Ricky Ricketts called them lairs, cheats and regular screw ups. Some guy named Dolske said their give away program ($3 million worth) was reverse bribery. I think he is just miffed because he had to buy his own coffee and donuts while he had lunch with federal contractors. He tried to impress people with the fact that he served his country in the Air Force for thirty years as an officer. Now he expects everyone one to be honorable. If he had only known the people he was defending. A whole lot of people stood up and ripped Pickerington for being crooked. Joyce?’s face became fire red. Then it became almost a purple color. Her head was almost on the table. As the color in her face changed during the day the people would say Oooh or maybe Ahhhaaa! Just like down at Red, White, and Boom.

A retired engineer, John Garner, made a report about the well water and the waste water. Folks we are in over our heads! It seems the Pickerington?’s service director has an alligator mouth and a humming bird butt. That butt was shown to be over loaded by that alligator mouth on last Tuesday.

The county commissioners then continued the hearing so that Braum and Joyce could plan their comebacks in about two weeks. If things are slow Maverick, you should plan to attend.

The County commissioner need to hear form the folks in the area. They think all they need to do is rule on the legal issue of whether the city can annex these two tracts of lands (316 acres and 362 acres). If they vote to allow the annexation, it will bankrupt our schools. It will bankrupt our city, and it will bankrupt our water and sewer funds here locally. So it seems they also have a political problem. That is, if they approve this annexation then they will be blamed for all of the above.

They should be told that the applicants (City of Pickerington) lied on their application. With the pre-annexation agreements before them the land owners were bought off by using illegal taxpayer funds. In short the applicant?’s request has some FATAL ERRORS!

Bravo, you should send this one in to the papers in a letter to the editor format. Maybe your excellent prose will wake up the city residents who will soon be wiping their with their checkbooks each time they flush when they have to pay alligator mouth for all the sewer and water the devlopers want him to to build while waiving their tap fees.

You seem to be saying that this annexation of 678 acres and the sewer and water fee reductions are coming out of the city water user?’s pockets. Is that what you are saying? Boy, are you in for one hell of a surprise.

The 316 acres south of the city is already serviced by YOUR water and sewer system. The city attorney Braum says that is set up by LAW (state statue).Do you really believe a city that is flat broke will honor those tap fee reductions? They will own your facilities in no time and you will be paying the city water and sewer rates just like the rest of us. You are already building roads for us here in the city through TIFs coming out of the fire department and the school budget. I think they even threw in a small bridge for Daryl.

316 acres will be served two

Hey Billy,

You had better check those pre-annexation agreements for the South annexations. The city says they will serve this area with city sewer and water. They already started placing lines along the road along Busey across the street from the County sewer and water lines and were stopped by injunction. The way things go in sewer politics, that may not last for long.

I agree and think the smart thing to do would be to buy out the county service facilities or just use them to provide the service instead of building lines across the street from lines aleady in the road. Teh County does noit care who it serves. I also think there are FEW brains down at city hall, so instead, they are planning on doubling the capacity of their sewer plant, (cha-ching) one that was just expanded in 2000 to the tune of over 8 million dollars for that expansioon and is already used up. Tehy keep telling you they need all this sewer for commercial, that is bull as they give it all away to homes and have proven that with the last expansion.

You have got to remember that the County has immense bonding capacity to build these infrastructure projects that small Picktown does not. The bonding can be spread over the revenue of the entire county property valuation versus the income tax revenue that you 9000 suckers pay in the city of Pickerington...you will pay the bill on this madness. We will not merge. The county will not sell its facilities to the city. They will just keep wasting your money until you stop them by booting them out of office and getting a better city manager. Me, I have a well and septic, so they can't get their needle in me. you should move to the Township and quit directly funding these idiots every two weeks.
