The more you write the more confusing you become. John Dolske did not support Pickerington or their attorneys at the commissioners hearing. Check your facts; check your posting. Also, anonymous is right; the county will never sell facilities to that sorry municipality called Pickerington.
The tide is turning for you Pickerington folks. Your gig is almost up. You can sell your house now and avoid the rush, or wait and get a deal on ?“For Sale?” signs. Your choice. We won?’t subsidize lethargic and lobotomized city folk. It?’s your bed. You city folk made it, so you sleep in it.
Merge? Merge? We will never merge!!! How many times do we have to tell you this, huh? It will never happen! I wish those hardheaded city councilman will get this through their thick skulls. Now if Pickerington were a New Albany, then maybe, yes, we?’d merge. But Pickerington?’s debt and long term financial health is questionable at best and frightening at face value. Whitehall has a better financial outlook and core commercial than Pickerington could dream of! When are those councilmen going to get this in their heads: ?“It?’s Commercial Stupid!?”?… and we?’re not counting apartments.
Oh one more thing, we will hold each and every County Commissioner responsible for their decisions. Especially their decision to let Pickerington ruin the northwest corner of OUR county. Sometimes, the brat must be slapped! But this case is cut and dry. If the city can?’t service the area, they certainly don?’t deserve it. And the county subsidizing developers by offering reduced sewer and tap fees? What do you think those Lancaster folks would think about giving Dominion and Virginia Homes their hard earned money (you don?’t have to answer that)? I can almost see Judy Shupe campaigning for her next re-election, ?“Yes, we did give those developers $3.1 Million in subsidies, but they really needed it.?” Get real Billy!
