JUST WHAT IS A CROSSOVER?

One of the activities on Friday May 13 at the Pack Campout is the Crossover Ceremony. The Crossover Ceremony is done to recognize that the Scouts have moved to their next level of Cub Scouting. Pack 245 does a Painted Crossover Ceremony. This ceremony has the Scouts?’ adult partner marking the Scout to show the Scout has completed one Scouting Level. The Adult Leader is involved to welcome the Scouts to the next Scouting Level and to provide the Scouts with the recognition for their next level in Cub Scouting. A part of the awarding of neckerchiefs and Cub Scout Neckerchief slides to the Scouts and Adult Leaders. The Scouts actually cross a bridge as a part of the ceremony. Each Scout will participate and crossover to their next level of Scouting.
