Grafitti
Meghan,
No I have not seen them around here, I guess I am at work. You are entitled to have your opinion and do not mind having convicted criminals in your area but I do. As far as the landscapers, like I said earlier maybe I dont see them around because I am not home all day. When I see some lighting at our community entrancees that I have been fighting to get for almost 2 years now or lighting near the mailboxes so you can see at night when you get the mail, something other than the basic services then Maybe I will be happy with where my money goes.

Grafitti
I work as well however I work from home and pick up my work and do so around 11am which is when they work. They are chained together, and they have an armed person, either a police officer or corrections officer there as well for each ''group'' and each group looked like they had 4-5 people. It isn't that I don't ''mind'' but I would imagine that inmates they send to do stuff like that are pretty low on the totem pole as far as offenses go. Really, someone who is serving a DUI sentence or a deat beat dad who didn't pay child support could very easily come work off his debt and isn't any danger to anyone around here. ''Chain gangs'' have been around a good long time and yes, depending on what they are serving a sentence for, I'd rather them doing work and saving money than sitting in jail watching TV and probably eating better than I do.
I also think we need more lightening, unfortunately the majority disagree with that.

Suggestion
I noticed on my walk this morning that the landscapers are out of things to do cause they've got the blowers out just blowing things back and forth.
Why not have one of them go over and take care of the grafitti on the wall.
After all we are paying them 17K a month.

Status of Graffitti removal
Can someone please tell me the status of getting this removed? Its been a month now and that is more than plenty of time to get someone, anyone to remove it. This sends the wrong message to our community and to those who did this regarding our tolerance for this type of behavior and destruction. This HAS to be removed immediately when it happens or its going to continue to happen. If we need to hire someone then do it or send the landscapers out there with some paint to paint over it. This is unacceptable.
