History of Point South HOA

If anyone is an original homeowner and knows the history of the original Homeowner's Association, we would like to hear from you. We would just like some history about our neighborhood and what the Association was like at that time. Contact us via e-mail at pointsouth@4edisp.net.

About our association

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

At the current time, the general consensus is that we will be a "conduit of information" to our neighborhood rather than be primarily involved in "policing" our neighborhood. There are many City agencies to contact for help regarding things such as barking dogs, potholes, snow removal, etc., and that information can be found under "Government Agenices You Can Contact For Help". We do, however, want to be proactive with issues regarding zoning changes, street/intersection changes, ordinances that may affect our neighborhood, etc. Our plan now is to advise you of these issues via e-mail or letter if you do not have computer access. However, please do not hesitate to contact us via the web site regarding issues that are important to you!

DUES

In order to maintain the Point South Homeowner's Association Web site and produce periodic mailings, the Board has determined that dues of $10 per household will be necessary. Please send your check made payable to Point South HOA to Gregg and Debbie Blew, 3059 S. Willow St., Denver, CO, 80231 by July 31, 2003.

BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR

It is, of course, the homeowner's responsibility to maintain your property in accordance with the ordinances/laws of the City and County of Denver. If you feel someone in your neighborhood is not doing that, the best first step would be to deal with that neighbor directly. If the issue cannot be resolved, please contact the appropriate agency and see if they can help. If the matter still isn't resolved and you feel that support from the Association might help, please contact us. We do want our neighborhood to continue to be a friendly place to live and being a good neighbor is the place to start!
