Look, if you call the police, it shouldn't matter who owns the property. The people who are causing the problem *are* the problem, and should be dealt with. What planet are you living on?

And what the heck do you mean about old ladies and teenagers and people not reading legal papers, etc.? If you have something say, just bloody well say it!

Thanks for your concern about my lack of clarity.  You are right about calling the police when someone or a group is causing a problem, but that is only part of the solution.  The homeowner is responsible for his tenants according to our Declaration, our governing document, here on planet earth.

Calls to the management company result in being told to deal with the problem even when it could result in harm to the caller.  I no longer waste my time with the management company.  Unfortunately, many of our problems are caused by people who do not read the papers they signed when they bought their homes and then expect the BOD to grant them special exceptions, which means someone who expects fairness is shafted.

It just seems that after having the police called again and again, and having people cited and arrested over and over again, even the most idiotic tenants would pack up and move.

I wonder why the actual homeowner isn't fined or forced to pay when their tenants trash homes and lawns?
