Eventually all that fearmongering and gnashing of teeth by the Republican minority and their allys in the media will die down, people will find out what this really does and the nation will survive.
I have mixed views on the health care bill. Clearly something has to be done out side of trying to convince people we'll be speaking German if this passes. Health insurance cost for those that actually work has become increasing out of control.

I had to look hard to find the silver lining here. But look at it this way....at least now we don't have to wonder who would be foolish enough (one might say "stupid" enoough, but stupid is such a harsh term) to buy into a bill that hasn't been seen, that needed a whole bagful of dirty tricks to even get this close, that will saddle our children and grandchildren with unimagineable debt, all while ruining the greatest health care system in the history of mankind. Old Mal is the one. I wish I had a 1967 Corvette to sell....really beat up and not running. She'd buy it sight unseen, without a test drive, and I could sell if for around 250000$ since that's what some folks are willing to pay for a really nice one.
