TENANTS RIGHTS

We help people get information on their rights as tenants. We try to keep up on available resources so that we can get them to folks or tell them where to find it.

SAFE HOUSING

We work on issues of code enforcement and ''warranty of habitability'' and healthy homes. People pay good money - they deserve good safe housing. We also have started a Childrens Healthy Environment Campaign (CHEC) - http://www.checampaign.org

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Southern Maine is in a housing crisis. Rents are absolutely brutal and that's IF you can find anything. There needs to be a lot more affordable housing built - and we mean truly affordable! If we can increase the supply then the market will bring the rents down.
