About our association

Our Origin

The Presidents’ Council of Southeast Baltimore was formed in July 1999, to unite the neighborhoods of that part of Baltimore City through their community groups’ presidents. The Council membership includes 17 community associations, representing approximately 17,000 homes and 60,000 residents. Our mission is to become ‘United in Creating Positive Change in Southeast Baltimore’ through our efforts to organize the various neighborhood organizations into one cohesive unit that speaks for our community as a whole.
